Winterfest 2017: An open letter about why you should go
It's Patrick again... Sorry about passing out at Summerfest...
I have a problem you see. Winter has come, and while the cold has arrived, entertaining Game of Thrones episodes have not, so I'm in dire need of something to do to get my mind off this metric ton of Uni readings I have to catch up on.
I heard Winterfest 2017 is coming up on the 11th of August and that 1st Release tickets are only $20 for UTS Students and staff. That's great... But something is worrying me... I'm afraid that it's going to be too lit.
Like I needed another reason to want to boogie down at the Underground, but I heard the lineup includes Nicole Millar, Kilter, Lanks, and a handful of talented UTS performers across 3 stages in The Underground, Loft, and Laneway.
I consider myself a bit of a music snob... But that lineup is too good to pass up. If you're promising a night of fun filled music and alcohol from 7pm until late, and it sounds like you are, how could anyone pass up the opportunity to come along?
I'll even get a chance to chat with UTS Alumni across all faculties in the hopes of finding a student as destitute as I am.
You know what? I've thought about this enough. It's time to get my ticket Here. And I'd better hurry up because I hear they sell out fast!
