UTSoC is excited to announce that we are getting our own publication! Named the Yearbook: Phoenix Edition, we want articles that are centered on the highs and lows of university life that incorporate themes of remembrance, new beginnings, and saying goodbye. Like the Phoenix of legend, the end of something often brings about new beginnings.
So if you’re a thirsty firstie with a new take on university, an oldie who wants to reminisce, or someone in the middle who wants to get their voice out there: this is the publication for you! Take the themes and run with them, show us your interpretation of uni, and be creative! Talk about your friends, (don’t name your lecturers), discuss the pros and cons of getting addicted to coffee, and tell us about the weird processes that get you through an all-nighter. Don’t miss your chance to be part of UTSoC’s first ever creative work.
Submissions should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by midnight September 18th. Your piece should be formatted to 12pt, 1.5 spacing, and be between 700-1000 words (subject to negotiation).
It’s time to see your name in print! Because, baby, we’ve got some blank spaces.
